WOULDFEEL'D CONCEPT
PRODUCTS...
**it is important for me to note that none of these products are actually made from seaweed fibres - they are just recycled from second hand shops around the coast as making bioplastic needed a lot more resources. despite this, in future i aim to eventually create something true.**

'SUN OF A BEACH!'
BRIM HAT
~ sometimes the sun can be a bit of a pain. protect your skin from harsh uv rays with a comfy broad brim hat. made to last with the sheer tenacity of cellulose x seaweed fibre, derrived from Ascophyllum nodossum. after your third wear, the hat will mold itself into your head, you'll almost forget it's there!

'SEAS THE DAY'
HAIR OIL

'WATER U GOING OUTSIDE FOR?!'
RAIN JACKET
~ built for the risk takers and adventurers, the WF rain jacket can be used in any climate. both a water and fire retardant, the jacket's natural sea weed super powers make the fabric light and breathable, and can absorb sweat with ease. specific ions within the fibre itself, generates microbial and odour-neutralising properties.
~ stacked with A, E and B12 vitamins, this 100% biodegradable and carbon neutral hair oil can work wonders. as the oil infuses gently into your hair, it generates volume and makes it shine.
NIEVE'S PAST PROJECTS...
'THE WATER BATT-AR-Y'
first AR project
I designed a augmented reality, virtual gallery in which users could view and interact with the inner workings of the USC Water Battery with 3D models and information panels. This was completely new territory for me but had a great time researching and applying the program 'Zapworks Studio' and the theory behind immersive environments.

'BIO-PLASTIC LIGHT
INSTALLATION'
group project
A group project made for a design exhibition at USC this year. I was part of a three member team, where we created a 'stained glass window', made from algae-based bioplastic, and lined with LED strips. It was a part of a USC UX Design Art Installation held in 'The Cave'. Highlighting the importance of sustainability and being resourceful and adaptable were key to this project. I had the role of learning the 'Microsoft Microbit' code for the lights and although it wasn't without it's challenges, it was great to get my brain thinking a little differently.
'WOULDFEEL'd
SNAPCHAT FILTER'
bit of fun - branding?
I use Snapchat a little bit and recently it has exploded with branding AR content. I made a silly little snapchat filter for the 'brand' that will hopefully make for a fun little activity users can get involved with. Definitely going to be more in the future! #ADD ME @nievexc <3
